Director: Nicolás Lidijover

DIRECTOR´S BIO

Nicolás Lidijover was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1974.


Graduated from the University of Cinema in 1995 with a Master degree on Cinematographic Arts.
 

Between 1995 and 2010 has worked on the local film industry as an Assistant Director in more than twenty five feature films. His work include films such as "Martin (H)" directed by Adolfo Aristarain (1999), "Burnt Money" (2000), "Kamtchatka" (2002) both from Marcelo Piñeyro, "Samy and I" (2002) directed by Eduardo Milewicz, "The
Gateway" (2000) directed by Eduardo Mignona, "Tre Mogli" (2000) by Marco Rissi (Italy), "Doña Barbára" (2000) directed by Betty Kaplan, and "The dice are rolled" (2005) directed by Sebastián Borenztein; amongst
others.


He has also developed a career as a 2nd. Unit Director on films like "Dangerous Obsession " (2005), "The Thoth Fairy" (2006), "The Thoth Fairy 2 " (2009), "Amor a Mares" (2012), and "The Games Maker" (2013) with Josehp Fiennes and Ed Asner.


His directorial efforts began with "Workshop Cinematography" (1995) a documentary for Eastman Kodak, and the short‐films "Until death tears us apart”, "And?... ", "White and Black ", and "1701", which received a special mention from the Film Institute of Argentine.


Nowadays he is developing for Pampa Films, producers of " The Sign " (2008) the directorial début of famous actor Ricardo Darín, the scripts of two feature films: "Happy ever after", a romantic comedy. And "Deception", a trhiller in the world of magic, with Ricardo Darín and Javier Bardem as lead actors.
